Through integrations with Meta Platforms technologies, our App may access and process the following information:

  • User ID & Profile: Oculus/Meta user ID, username, and profile photo, to identify you within the App.

  • User Age Group: General age category (e.g., under 13, 13–17, 18+) to ensure compliance with regional requirements.

  • Friends & Invites: Your Oculus friends list and invites, used to enable multiplayer and social features,

  • In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: Transaction data necessary to process purchases, subscriptions, billing periods, and related content access.

  • Blocked Users: Access to your block list, to ensure that blocked users are not matched or connected with you.

We do not collect or store sensitive personal information such as email addresses, payment card details, or real-world location directly. Purchases and account information are handled through Meta’s systems.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the above information to:

  • Enable gameplay, social, and multiplayer features.

  • Process in-app purchases and subscription services.

  • Allow you to use and personalize your Meta Avatar.

  • Maintain a safe environment by respecting block lists.

  • Improve user experience and provide customer support.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Data is only used as necessary to operate Dear Metaverse and comply with Meta Platform requirements.

We process your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including:

Dear Metaverse is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we learn that we have processed information from a minor without consent, we will delete it promptly.
