Through a unique tapestry of voice memos, music, and breathtaking VR animation, The Art of Change is an immersive audio-visual experience exploring a woman's dialogue with her past, present, and future selves. Journey through time and space as vivid environments—both familiar and abstract—unfold in a groundbreaking celebration of life’s transformative moments.

The Art of Change was born from DROELOE’s mind as a concept album. Simone and Vincent collaborated on the visual world-building to support the music and decided to build a standalone VR project tailored for the medium, allowing new engagement with a music-based creation. VR and Quill let you create incredibly detailed worlds and enable the viewer to engage with virtual space and audio uniquely. This technology is new and evolving, and we aimed to create a unique experience based on the relationship between audio and video, blending them together in a new virtual way.

The journey unfolds through past, present, and future, depicting archetypal experiences familiar to many: the majestic solitude of a large tree in the wilderness, the challenge of an insurmountable mountain peak, the mundanity of an ordinary office building, and the yearning to escape, along with more abstract, imaginary places.

"The Art of Change" reflects on life's steps and their echo across time and space. Entirely painted and animated in VR using Quill, it offers a pioneering musical journey. Through virtual space, seamless transitions, and increasingly complex environments, this immersive project redefines how we appreciate music.
